As another year of learning comes to an end it is of course time to start planning for the autumn. The WEA will once again be working in partnership with the Nottinghamshire County Council Adult and Community Learning Service (ACLS) to deliver targeted personal and community development courses across the county.
So, if you’re looking for funding for adult learning in Nottinghamshire during 2012-2013, this could be a good place to start.
The WEA can use the funds from ACLS to deliver all sorts of courses for adults all over Nottinghamshire. We can pay reasonable venue costs, supply tutors for a range of subjects and even help with promotion and publicity.
If you work in a community centre, belong to a voluntary group, or simply think that where you live could really benefit from some local adult learning opportunities, now is the time to get in touch and have a chat about what the WEA can offer.
You can use the ‘make contact’ form on this website, email Lindsey direct at ltasker@wea.org.uk or call on 07919 528 109.
