Lowry, naïve artist or skilled professional?
This course sets out to unlock the mysteries of the man, charting his journey from Salford to the Salon, through Impressionism to the infamous ‘marionette works’.
Examine his context among Britain’s naïve movement while deconstructing their artworks with experienced WEA tutor, Ian Douglas, on this 10 week course starting in September.

The new WEA Brochures listing all the courses for adults that are planned for the East Midlands during the autumn term 2013 are now available online.
So, whether your looking for a course on history, philosophy, practical art or art appreciation. Or perhaps you fancy having a go a Flower Arranging, Yoga or Tai Chi? These are just a few of the courses listed, so why not take a look to see the full range of subjects that will be on offer in the autumn.
Hard copies of the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire brochure will be sent out in the post next week to anyone who attended one of our courses last year* and copies will be making their way to libraries across the county during the next few weeks.
