The new course listings for the autumn term 2013 will be available next month.
The latest WEA Brochure for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire will be available in local libraries from mid-July, or you can request a copy by emailing us at email@example.com and we can either send you an electronic or a hard copy, just let us know which you would prefer.
Whether you’re looking for Philosophy, Oil Painting or Flower Arranging in Arnold, Psychology or Art Appreciation in Radcliffe on Trent, or perhaps Tai Chi or History in Nottingham (to name just a few of the many courses planned) - take a look in the brochure to see what’s on offer throughout the county from September 2013.
With our fees frozen at 2012/13 prices, this is the year to bag a bargain and treat yourself to a bit of ‘me’ time on that course you’ve always promised yourself.

‘The law and you: what is it and how does it work?’ is a brand new course being offered by the WEA for the first time this coming autumn. The course will look at how law has developed and continues to develop, exploring its significance within a social and political context.
Consideration will be given to:
- the power of the state
- constitutional developments

- the Human Rights Act
No previous knowledge of law is assumed, just enthusiasm to discuss and debate.

Alternatively you can call Lindsey on 07919 528 109 to request a postal booking form. The course reference is: C2329778

The new brochure listing WEA courses throughout Nottinghamshire is now available. Anyone who enrolled on a WEA course with us last year will automatically receive a copy of the new brochure within the next few weeks (unless you ticked the box asking us not to send you anything!). Anyone else can either pop into their local library for a copy or give us a call on 0115 962 8416 and we can pop one in the post.
Although the brochure lists all the WEA Branch and Community courses planned for the autumn term, it does not include the ACLS funded courses as the partnership work between the WEA, ACLS and numerous community based organisations goes on throughout the summer to try and make sure that the funding goes where it is needed the most.
So, you’ll have to watch this space to see what the WEA/ACLS programme is going to look like next term.
