There are still a few places left on the ‘Computers inside and out’ course at Warsop Town Hall.
This course runs on a Friday afternoon from 1.30pm-3.30pm.
Peter Goodwin, the tutor, “feels passionately about the way that technology can improve people’s lives.” He also believes “that the people who could benefit the most from it are very often the ones that don’t use it.”
It is Peter’s mission to de-mystify the computer for as many people as he can. On this particular course he is starting at the beginning and introducing the group to Windows so that learners understand what they are looking at and how to find their way round a laptop or computer. Then they learn how to move and store things, followed by a beginners guide to the internet and email.
So, if this sounds like just the course you’ve been looking for, it’s not too late to join.
The course started on 23 September and runs every Friday from 1.30pm-3.30pm until 2 December (there is no session on 28 October though, as that’s half term week). The full venue address is: Warsop Town Hall, 20 Church Street, Warsop, Mansfield, NOTTS NG20 0AL
The full course fees are £50, however, you may be entitled to the course free of charge if you receive a means tested benefit – contact Lindsey for more information on 07919 528 109 or via email at: email@example.com
This course is funded by Nottinghamshire County Council Adult and Community Learning Service.
